Nothing today released its second audio product, Ear (stick) wireless headphones. This headset has a semi-in-ear design (no silicone head), a 12.6mm drive unit, plus a charging case, and a battery life of up to 29 hours. The cylindrical shell design is inspired by the contour of the lipstick and is also transparent when not in use to show the transparent appearance of the earplugs. Just twist and open the box and get the earbuds themselves.
Ear (stick) does not have active noise cancellation (ANC), but supports clear voice technology, which uses 3 microphones on each earbud for windproof and vocal-proof calls. These earbuds come with touch controls for playback, pause, skip, voice assistance and volume control.
Nothing also brings the Bass Lock feature, which can dynamically adjust the bass according to the surrounding environment. The new earbuds are IP54 waterproof and dustproof, and can play for 7 hours on a single charge and can be extended to 29 hours with the charging case. They are compatible with Android devices quickly pairing. Nothing claims that these earplugs can be worn all day long due to their ergonomic design. When paired with Nothing phone (1), this headset has several special features, including customizable gesture control, EQ setting adjustments and Find My Earbuds feature, all accessible via the Quick Settings Switch of Phone (1). Other Android and iOS devices will have to download the Nothing X app to access the above features.
Nothing Ear (stick) is priced at $99/€119/€99 , which is consistent with the original MSRP of Nothing Ear (1), although the product has recently increased by 50% and will start at $150 from today.
Nothing Ear (stick) will be available on November 4 through nothing.tech and partner retailers in more than 40 countries. Nothing offers 10% off for early buyers until November 30.
