Three other new buildings on the Austin campus may begin construction in February next year with a budget of $279 million, according to Apple's filings to the building permit and regulatory authorities.
Apple introduced at the time that the park will initially accommodate 5,000 employees, and its capacity will be increased to 15,000 in the future, and is expected to open in 2022.
