recently suddenly found that pressing the "Win key" on the keyboard failed and there was no response. In this way, many combination shortcut keys related to Win keys cannot be used, such as: Win+R, Win+S, Win+I, Win+E, Win+Q. Is my keyboard broken? I changed to another keyboard and connected it to the USB port of my computer, and found that I still couldn't use shortcut keys related to the Win key.
This way, it can basically be judged that it is not caused by the keyboard problem, but it should be a problem with the system settings. I checked some information online, tested it repeatedly, and finally it was fixed. Next, let’s introduce the specific repair method for the Win key not responding.
1. Click the start menu in the lower left corner of the computer, enter "regeditt" in the input box, and click the "regedit.exe" option icon after entering, and open the registry editor. In the list of options on the left, expand the options by following the path below.
registry expansion path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
2. On the Explorer option, double-click the left mouse button to open this option, and then find a subkey named "NoWinKeys" in the options bar on the right. Double-click the left mouse button to open NoWinKeys, find the numerical data (V) in the subkey editing window, and modify the value inside from "1" to "0". The cardinality setting on the right side of the subkey editing window remains in hexadecimal (H) by default. Click OK to save the parameters we have modified.
3. Close the registry editor, click the Start menu in the lower left corner of the desktop, and select to restart the computer . The computer has been restarted. I tested whether the Win build reacts and found that it can be used normally.
Optimization tips:
It should be noted that after we modify the parameters in the registry, we must restart the computer, otherwise the modified parameters in the registry will not take effect.
