You should know that there are two reasons why TSMC has become the world's number one chip foundry manufacturer. First, TSMC lost its bargaining power. You should know that as the number one in the global OEM industry, TSMC has always been tough, because if the giants of American chips want to pursue more advanced technology, they must look at TSMC's face. Secondly, TSMC's total market value has been cut in half. Last year, TSMC ranked first in Asia with a market value of US$750 billion. With a series of operations by the United States, TSMC's market value is now only US$330 billion, equivalent to evaporating 2.8 trillion yuan in two years.
So the question is, does TSMC still have a chance to turn the tables? The answer is certainly yes, but TSMC needs to work hard on its own. Obviously, TSMC also understands that putting production capacity in the United States is a very risky thing.
