Apple included the iPhone 5c as an stale product in October 2020, meaning that the company and its service providers can only provide certain repair services for the product, depending on the supply of parts. According to a memo sent to authorized service providers today, on November 1, Apple will include the iPhone 5c as an outdated product and terminate all repairs and services. Apple also stated in the memo that it will mark the iPad mini 3 equipped with Wi-Fi and TD-LTE as an outdated product on the same day.
iPhone 5c is an iconic iPhone released at the same time as the iPhone 5s in September 2013. The iPhone 5c is equipped with the A6 chip, uses a 4-inch LCD screen and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The iPhone 5c is Apple's first iPhone product offering a range of bright and vibrant colors, including blue, green, pink, yellow and white, with a "unsubstantiated plastic" design.
