In addition to launching the brand new GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards for players, NVIDIA also introduced a brand new flagship graphics card RTX 6000 48GB for the professional vision market today. Although this graphics card follows the previous generation's name, it adopts a new Proviz solution based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.
NVIDIA means that the RTX 6000 graphics card is equipped with 48GB of GDDR6 EEC video memory. Due to the significant increase in the number of CUDA and RT cores, and the new Ada Lovelace architecture, its performance is 2-4 times that of the previous generation RTX A6000.
NVIDIA's new flagship RTX 6000 48GB graphics card utilizes the company's AD102 graphics processing unit, but the company has not disclosed its exact configuration at this time. Due to the reduced power consumption of the RTX 6000 48GB, the card comes with a relatively compact dual-slot cooling system (4.4-inch x 10.5-inch) and a fan designed to ensure the new motherboard is suitable for workstations as well as servers (as the product can also be used for remote rendering and virtual desktop applications). As for the display output, the adapter has four DisplayPort 1.4 connectors that drive four displays with resolutions up to 5Kp60 or 8Kp30 or two displays with resolutions up to 8Kp60.
