It is reported that based on the research on the real lighting environment of tens of thousands of home users, Hisense has comprehensively upgraded from three dimensions: backlight, screen, and chip algorithms, presenting the reference-level image with the best display effect to users.
The protagonist of this article - Hisense TV E8H is a flagship TV new product positioned as "ULED X reference image". Hisense TV E8H covers two size segments: 65 and 75 inches. 1. Light control

Mini LED combines the display advantages of traditional LCD screens and OLEDs, and also has the characteristics of high brightness, high color gamut and high contrast. Compared with OLEDs, Mini LED also has a series of advantages such as higher global brightness, long life, and no panel constraints, high yield. As such, products such as Apple 's high-end display Pro Display XDR, iPad Pro and other products are equipped with Mini LED technology. Compared with ordinary Mini LED TVs, the 300+ partition of the common Mini LED TVs has reached 500+ Mini partition , and the single-zone light control area is only 60% of that of ordinary Mini LED TVs.
In terms of light source scheduling, Hisense has designed a new 1+N distributed driver chip architecture, using Xinxin U + super-image quality chips to collaborate with nearly 20 distributed light control chips, the light control response speed is 10 times improved, the light control fineness is increased by 40%, and the image quality performance is better.

2. Image quality

First of all, we use ASELI i1Display Pro to measure the color gamut and color accuracy performance of Hisense TV E8H.
As shown in the figure above, after actual testing, Hisense TV E8H has reached 5% DCI-P3 (approximately value). Considering the error of the test, this result is very close to the official number, which shows that the color display of this screen is very excellent.
In addition, after actual testing, the average △E of Hisense TV E8H is only 0.81, which fully reaches the color accuracy level of professional monitors, and the screen color restoration is quite accurate.
It is worth mentioning that Hisense TV E8H also supports AI Color color space adaptation, opening up multiple color spaces such as DCI-P3, BT.709, BT.2020, etc. By setting - image - video signal - color space, color space can be adjusted according to your own needs.
Then, we simply tested the brightness of Hisense TV E8H. Compared with the 1000nits brightness of ordinary Mini LEDs, Hisense TV E8H achieves an amazing peak brightness of 1600nits, can present images beyond the HDR standard (0.005nit-1000nit), and has the ability to achieve the ultimate dynamic range of XDR. Data shows that when the Hisense TV E8H screen displays pure white pictures of different sizes, the brightness of different areas can basically reach more than 1600nit.
When we play videos such as sunset, lush jungle, etc. with highlights that are more than natural environments, the super high screen brightness can present more highlight details, the picture layering is very strong, and the visual experience is directly full.
In addition, sufficient brightness guarantee can still see the content on the screen even in a living room with sufficient lighting. It can be said that the ultra-high brightness performance is one of the core advantages of Hisense TV E8H. The "obsidiary screen" using an ultra-low anti-negative LCD panel also adds points to the experience. The screen body has excellent black control effect and excellent anti-glare ability. For example, when we open a pure black photo in a normal indoor environment during the day, the screen does not reflect, and it is still pitch black.
Of course, it does not mean that this screen can absorb all the light. As shown in the figure below, in some complex light environments, some very bright light will still leave "traces" on the screen, but the screen will mattify these lights to reduce the glare effect.
