Recently, manufacturer Conquest VR launched a new audio headset, Conquest Pro, which can be used in the VR/AR market. Currently, the headset has been opened for pre-order, priced at $179 and is expected to be officially shipped in October.
According to the manufacturer, the Conquest Pro headphones offer users a universal headset solution with adjustable temples that can be connected to a variety of different VR headsets. The headset is connected using a 3.5 mm cable to provide ultra-immersive VR sound and capture all the nuances of spatialized audio.
This headset has been certified by Hi-Res Audio and supports almost all VR headsets and various headbands, including Meta Quest, Meta Quest 2, Meta Rift S, Pico Neo 2, Pico Neo 3, HTC Vive Focus 3 and Varjo Aero. The two official headbands of Meta Quest 2, the Elite Strap and Elite Strap with Battery, have also been tested as appropriate.
According to reports, the Conquest Pro headset contains five different installation options, designed to ensure that it fits different head shapes. The weight distribution moving backward also better balances the front-heavy VR glasses. The ear-apple counterweight design method will not strain the edge of the ear or press too hard on the ear.
On the other hand, the headset uses audio adaptive technology to prevent pressure applied to the auricle, making the long-term VR experience comfortable. It grants products with sample rates exceeding 44.1KHz and bit depth exceeding 16 bits (i.e. clean playback in areas above CD quality).
