W: How does Nikon define the Z 30 camera, and who are the target customers?
N: Z 30 is an entry-level product. It is not only the smallest and lightest product among the Z series cameras, but it was also developed with the greatest emphasis on ease of use in video operations. Users can customize settings according to their own preferences, allowing content creators to express their works in various ways according to their own preferences and grow together with the camera.
Nowadays, there are many users who shoot Vlog, and many of them use smartphones to shoot. However, some young people want to express some unique video works, and there are more and more creators of this kind of content, so our target customers It's these young people. As the first video-focused product, we value more the feedback given to us by consumers and the market.

W: Will Nikon have any new APS-C lens development plans in the future?
N: First of all, we are very sorry. We are still unable to give a clear answer about the specific plan. However, the Z 30 adopts the universal mount of the Z series cameras, so it can be adapted to both FX and DX lens formats. Currently, all 28 NIKKOR Z lenses we have released can be used. At the same time, through Nikon’s FTZ adapter ring, about 360 NIKKOR F mount lenses can also be used. For future lens development plans, we will carefully listen to feedback from the market and customers to formulate development plans.
W: For some consumers, the price of Z series full-frame lenses is a bit high. I hope Nikon will release more cost-effective APS-C frame lenses.
N: We have also noticed that our friends are working hard to develop various APS-C format lenses. I would venture to ask, if Nikon continues to develop APS-C format lenses, which focal length lens will be more suitable?
W: Some fans need zoom lenses and prime lenses with constant large apertures that are cost-effective. If an APS-C fixed-focus lens is developed, it would be more appropriate if the equivalent frame size is at least 28 mm.
N: This is a topic we need to challenge. In the future, we will still rely on feedback from consumers and the market to promote our work.
W: When will the Z-mount protocol be opened to allow the production of sub-factory lenses?
N: As far as I know, Nikon currently has no relevant regulations that do not allow lens manufacturers to produce Z-mount lenses.

N: Nowadays, more and more users are using cameras to shoot videos, so we have to tilt towards the market and produce products that suit user needs. Product. Z 30 is our first product in the direction of vlogging. We do not pursue comparison with products from other manufacturers, but this is an exploration and a start. We also hope that after launching this model, Get feedback from the market.
