According to the latest news, Huawei Mate50 series will be equipped with a processor called Kirin 9000S, which is equivalent to an overclocked version of Kirin 9000. Its performance is comparable to Snapdragon 8 Gen1, but its power consumption and heat generation are even better. One advantage, so Kirin 9000S is still not afraid of the Qualcomm chip, and can at least control the gap within one generation.
In addition, Kirin 9000S also has a built-in HiSilicon ISP image processor developed by Huawei, which will have better performance in taking pictures. However, there is news that the Kirin 9000S chip has castrated the 5G baseband and therefore does not support 5G networks. The Huawei Mate50 series will still use an extended 5G back clip to support 5G functions in a "curve" manner.
