Compared with the GPW that I used in the previous two years, the biggest difference between Moonblade Wireless and its ergonomics is the use of 1 2 Design, this is indeed something that I have spent a lot of effort to adapt to, but the comfort after getting used to it is still slightly better than the symmetrical design of the mouse.
If the size is right, the hand can be attached to the mouse in a more natural posture, and the highest point on the left side can fill up the palm, which is a prone position.
But in fact, the overall size of the Moonblade wireless version is small, the official three-dimensional 118mmx62mmx39mm, for me, if you hold it on your stomach, the mouse will appear narrow and the ring finger and little finger will be awkward, so I finally chose to grasp Posture.

At the beginning of the experience, the most attractive thing about this mouse is that its buttons and left and right skirts are made of PBT material-I know something about the keycaps Players should know that the PBT material is wear-resistant and not easy to be oiled, and it is also used on the mouse to avoid problems that affect the appearance caused by the oiling of the shell.

In addition to replacing the PBT material, the hot area on the front of the mouse has also been subjected to coarse-grained frosting to further prevent the contamination of 2_The touch is more drier. And the scroll wheel between the two buttons also speaks a lot-it adopts a fully transparent design, with the faith LOGO on the back cover, and two parts of lighting The area adds a lot to the appearance of the Moonblade wireless version. Think about the thousand-yuan flagship mouse of a major peripheral manufacturer in 2021. Even the LOGO lights have been castrated. This is really unacceptable for a party like me.
When I mentioned the light, I also talked about this eye of faith. The overall light emission is uniform, and the edge of the light effect is very sharp. It can also be seen from the shooting results that there is no halo divergence. The actual naked eye effect is also clear and sharp.
Although it seems to pay attention to the less important points, even some awkward components, but you can observe the RGB performance of the mouse in your hand, and you will know if I am from I like it inwardly.
In addition to the customizable lighting effects, the side keys of the Moonblade wireless version also support the replacement of different colors, and a total of three sets of different colors are included with the package key. This is also a small detail that I like very much. Although the color selection is limited, it is better than nothing. The mouse directly supports the Bluetooth mode so that I can save me the trouble of preparing a USB interface converter.
The next thing I want to talk about is another aspect of Moonblade wireless version that can support personalized design. Pull out the rubber plug, and by removing the two screws at the bottom of the mouse, we can quickly 's to open the upper cover of the mouse, and then hot swap and replace the left and right buttons. This is really another big pain point for me. After all, my previous mouse brand was notorious for double-clicking with micro-motion.
Moonblade wireless version is equipped with ROG self-developed switch by default, gold-plated contacts, 70 million click life, and the red translucent shell looks full , There is also the iconic ROG word-but for me who are used to Omron jog, this jog feels softer, which may be due to the longer keystroke and slower feedback response. At the same time, after a long time click, the left button even made a creaking sound. After asking other experience officers, I confirmed that it is not a common phenomenon, it may be a quality control problem.
Fortunately, ROG also comes with two Omron jogs for replacement.Favorability increased again.
After disassembling the shell, we can see that the internal structure has reduced some weight through the honeycomb design, which is also the most weight reduction for the mouse without perforating It's an effective way.
In the end, the weight of the Moonblade wireless version was below 80g, which is quite satisfactory for a mouse.
In terms of battery life, the battery life of the Moonblade wireless version is about 7-8 days under the conditions of 2.4G connection, full lighting, and 5 hours of use per night. Although it is not a particularly outstanding result, due to the use of TypeC interface and fast charging technology, the efficiency and convenience of charging are greatly improved, and a mobile phone charging cable can be used for about 4 hours after 5 minutes of charging.
Finally, let’s talk about the ROG mouse driver software, ARMOURY CRATE. The basic functions are similar to those of other peripheral driver software, and the functions such as button customization, light adjustment, DPI and so on are all available.

Finally, after repeated uninstallation and installation, the motherboard, phantom halberd and mouse were recognized simultaneously. I spit out too much software that ROG synced to Shenguang. Baidu randomly searched all posts about Shenguang synchronization failure. I hope AURA will become more efficient and easy to use soon.
