Being in danger is still trembling, fearing to offend people and elephants, but at the same time keeping in mind the true way, having the virtue of Kun and Hou, this is the way of comparison.

When two ambitions are in harmony, they are compared, and when two ambitions are in conflict, they are Kui (kui). The way of the world: people with the same desires hate each other, and people with the same worries love each other.

ratio is auspicious. When people compare themselves to each other, they must have their own way. "Determine comparison based on comparison, and comparison if not comparable." Decide whether to compare based on the situation and the guest's willingness to compare. If the host and guest are not harmed greatly, and the willingness of both parties is not strong, and the host rushes to compare, the effect of the comparison will not be achieved, and it may even bring greater disaster to the host. If you wait until you are no longer able to maintain peace on your own before you start asking for relatives, then you can gain peace by comparing what you get.

Therefore, it is said that the king should be gentle to the world, so that the people below him will become like-minded people, and he should not turn himself into a mediocre person. If he always has this ambition and actively implements it, then everyone will be close to the king, and there will be no one who goes against the king.

The way of comparison requires two ambitions to seek each other. If they do not seek each other, it will be 睽gua. Therefore, "Warring States Policy Zhongshan Policy" has the principle of having the same desires to hate each other, and the same worries to be close to each other. For example: Zhongshan State lobbied for a powerful country to establish a king to protect itself.

The sixth day of the lunar month: "If you have Fu, there is no fault in comparing it. If you have Fu Yingfou (fou), it will be lucky in the end." This line is the beginning of comparison. Fu is Zhongxin, so the way of comparison is based on honesty. If the appearance is not the same as the inside, who is close to it? The fou is an earthenware container for holding wine. Today's people are eager to seek comparison, which is not the way for a gentleman to respect himself, but the way of losing himself. If you stick to your own right path and wait for those in higher positions to seek talents, you will not lose yourself. Therefore, when scholars cultivate themselves, they can seek ways to make progress. Lowering one's ambitions and humiliating one's body is definitely not the way to respect one's self. The desire to save the world is not without urgency, but because one must wait for courtesy to be received before proceeding. Because the Yao corresponds to the Yao of the Lord, the person who lives in this Yao will keep the right path and be consistent with what the King wants. If he is firm in this belief and enriches himself at all times, he will definitely be treated politely by the upper-level leaders and seek talents. Today's people are uneducated and have no self-respect. They use villain methods to cater to the favor of upper-level leaders, thereby achieving their own advancement goals but losing their own moral character.

Liusan: "Comparison is a bandit." If a person who is on a blind date is an improper person, he is a bandit and invites evil. Xiang said: Isn't it hurtful to compare with bandits? Isn’t it sad to make friends with bad people and collude with scum for the sake of common interests? This line warns us that if we make friends with people with poor moral character and ability without discrimination for the sake of common goals and interests, the ending will definitely be tragic. The corresponding idiom is: seeking skin from a tiger. As we often say now, "Don't be afraid of opponents who are like gods, but be afraid of friends who are like pigs."

Liusi: "Compared with others, you are chaste and auspicious." The position of Liusi is the position of being close to the king. It is auspicious for a person in this position to show his softness to the king and be obedient with a strong heart. There is no need to explain this meaning, the literal meaning is quite easy to understand. Examples: Han Liu Bang and Xiao He ; great men and prime ministers of the Republic.

This means that the minister will be loyal to the king, use all his loyalty and talents to show his loyalty to the king. This is the right way. As for whether to use it or not, it is up to you to decide. You must not flatter yourself or ask for your favor or comparison. The same is true for friends. They must cultivate their moral integrity and treat others sincerely. Whether or not they are close to each other depends on the person alone. They must not be clever in their words or flattery in order to seek comparison with others.

The top six: "It is headless and fierce." The top six is ​​the ultimate line of the close comparison. Whatever is good in the beginning will also be good in the end. If there is no good in comparison, it will lead to evil in the end. Nowadays, people do not follow the right path when they start to compare each other, and in the end there will be barriers. These people are the majority.
