In 1990, Nissan’s BNR32 GT-R Group A race car (JTC-1 category) competed for the first time in the JTC (Japan Touring Car Championship). Hoshino Kazuyoshi and Suzuki Toshio, driving the BNR32, won the JTC annual championship in the first year of the competition.
