[EV Vision Report] A few days ago, Lucid Motors launched its first model Lucid Air entry version configuration on the official website. The price of the car starts at US$69,900 (approximately RMB 459,000) after subsidies, and will be as early as 2022 deliver. The
basic shuttle type is named Lucid Air Pure, it will remove some of the functional configuration on the advanced version. First of all, the Pure version is a rear-wheel drive platform with optional all-wheel drive; the maximum power of the motor is 353kW. Pure's maximum cruising range is about 658km. Pure will be a traditional metal roof instead of an all-glass roof. It will also have 19-inch wheels as standard, which looks weaker, and Lucid's Mojave (black) interior solution. If you feel the interior is too simple, you can choose to install all-weather floor mats.
Lucid's DreamDrive ADAS autopilot assistance kit does not seem to be available on the Pure model, and is optional on the higher level models. It is not clear whether this is a difference in the authorization of the configuration program or a difference in the hardware configuration, and Lucid officially did not explain it.
Lucid has not yet listed the price of optional parts, so it is not clear the detailed price of all-wheel drive, 20-inch wheels or all-weather floor mats.
