Time flies, looking back, Hyundai Motor Group is about to go through its fifth year with the CIIE. Looking back on every detail of participating in the CIIE, I personally am willing to use the keyword "growth" to summarize. When it comes to growth, the first thing I think of is the increase in booth area and the number of exhibits.

Since 2018, Hyundai Motor Group has participated in the CIIE for four consecutive years. I still remember that at first we only had our brand Hyundai Motor , and last year, the group and its four major players, Hyundai Motor, Kia , Genesis , and Mobis were all unveiled. The car models on display are increasing, and the booth area has also expanded from the original 600 square meters to 2100 square meters.

As the world's first national exhibition with import-themed, the CIIE promotes China's global market connectivity, industry integration, innovation promotion and rules connection. Through the CIIE, Hyundai Automobile Group and China's automobile industry are also accelerating their common growth.

First of all, because of the CIIE platform, Hyundai Automobile Group can better present forward-looking concepts, advanced products and technologies to Chinese consumers. Faced with the ever-changing consumption concept, our exhibits have expanded from the first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle NEXO and high-performance N brand to last year's four major sectors: hydrogen energy , electrification, imported cars, and urban air travel. By presenting diversified products and advanced technologies to Chinese consumers and other companies, we have demonstrated the strong strength of Hyundai Automobile Group to transform into a "smart mobile travel solution supplier".

Secondly, the CIIE is an ideal platform for foreign-funded enterprises to establish connections with Chinese consumers. Through the CIIE, Hyundai Motor Group took the lead in displaying and testing the products and technologies that will be introduced in China, widely solicited suggestions from professional Chinese audiences and consumers, and continued to create products suitable for the Chinese market, which helped Hyundai Motor Group's career in China. This is also a breakthrough for us.

I have a good case here. At the first CIIE, the hydrogen fuel cell SUV NEXO displayed by Hyundai Motor attracted enthusiastic attention from Chinese consumers as soon as it was unveiled. With the official written into the government work report of hydrogen energy , Hyundai Motor Group launched the NEXO Chinese version of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle that complies with Chinese regulations and standards at the fourth CIIE last year. At present, the NEXO Chinese version has officially obtained the Beijing New Energy Vehicle license, completed the open road test drive, and will be officially introduced to China this year. At the same time, Hyundai Motor Group's world's first overseas hydrogen fuel cell production and sales base, "HTWO Guangzhou", is expected to be officially completed and put into production by the end of this year. The role of the Chinese market is crucial in the process of building a hydrogen energy society. Hyundai Motor Group hopes to use the leading hydrogen energy technology represented by the NEXO Chinese version of the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, to bring a new environmentally friendly travel experience of " zero carbon emissions " to Chinese consumers.

With the help of the CIIE, a world-class platform for open cooperation, Hyundai Motor Group has also firmly grasped the "CIIE opportunities" and established cooperative partnerships with people from all walks of life to advance and prosper together. During the epidemic, the partners we met at the CIIE solved the practical problems of suppliers' resumption of work and production for us, helped both sides overcome difficulties together, and promoted stable economic development. At the same time, the spirit of the CIIE was better conveyed to every participant.

In the context of China's further expansion of opening up to the outside world, the CIIE has become a major project we participate in every year. At the previous four CIIEs, Hyundai Motor Group has achieved fruitful results, and "cooperation", "innovation" and "sharing" have become hot words for us to write "CIIE stories". This year, the group has been ready to participate in the fifth CIIE, and is ready to help achieve the next exciting process of the Chinese automobile market. This fully demonstrates modern times's emphasis on the Chinese market and its confidence and determination to seize the "CIIE opportunities".

For me personally, because I have participated in four consecutive CIIEs, I have also gained growth on this platform.I remember that at the first time, our exhibits were mainly hydrogen fuel cell technology and products. At that time, the promotion and popularization of hydrogen fuel in the entire China was still in its infancy. I will learn one by one until I overcome the difficult technical points. Through the continuous accumulation over the past few years, my understanding and grasp of hydrogen fuel technology has been greatly improved, and I have gradually explained hydrogen fuel cell technology to the audience at the booth. These are the valuable growth experiences given to me by the CIIE.
