ASPICE is a process improvement and capability assessment of automotive software. It is a model framework used by the automotive industry to evaluate the R&D capabilities of software development teams. It is also one of the joint standards of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It has become the entry threshold for entering the supply system of internationally renowned vehicle enterprises. As an international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification agency, TÜV Rheinland is one of the first third-party institutions to carry out ASPICE and functional safety-related businesses in China, and its authority is self-evident.
