On October 11, Cover News learned from Mercedes-Benz that in the third quarter of 2022, Mercedes-Benz delivered more than 517,800 passenger cars worldwide, a year-on-year increase of 21%; among which 206,815 new cars were delivered in the Chinese market in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 37%, and a total of 562,616 vehicles were delivered in the first nine months, entering the fourth quarter with a steady momentum.

Specifically, under the strategy of full electric power, the new EQE and Mercedes-Benz C 350 e L plug-in hybrid sports sedans were launched one after another in the third quarter. Mercedes-Benz's new energy vehicle lineup (including pure electric models and plug-in hybrid models) further enriched customer choices, achieving a month-on-month growth of 27% compared with the previous quarter in the third quarter.
