Nissan released the GT4 racing version based on the commercially available Nissan Z sports car yesterday (September 28). However, the original manufacturer will not announce the complete technical specifications and data until the SEMA exhibition in Las Vegas in November. Before that, we can only take a look at the appearance of the Nissan Z GT4 from the pictures.

GT4 specifications Racing is based on mass production cars and can deal with fierce competitions after modification. To this end, the NISMO racing department adjusted the power performance of the 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine code-named VR30DDT and optimized the chassis and suspension to raise aerodynamics to the specification limits, allowing this Nissan Z GT4 to compete on the track.

Visually, the Nissan Z GT4 is even more eye-catching with its numerous aerodynamic upgrades. Starting from the front, NISMO made a new splitter and air wing on both sides of the bumper to increase downforce on the front axle, and the car also comes with a new hood with a brand new black lightweight aluminum ring.

The rear of the car is equipped with a very obvious large GT tail. There is also a GT4 logo symbolizing the racing level on the ducktail. There are rain lights and trailer hooks under the rear bumper, and a single-out exhaust pipe is used instead of the double-out exhaust pipe configuration on the commercially available cars. The original manufacturer has not shown the cockpit of the Nissan Z GT4, but they say the cockpit has been designed to be "suitable for all types of driving", both for ordinary amateurs and professional riders.

Nissan Z GT4 was developed by NISMO's racing engineering department and tested on multiple tracks and as a test vehicle to participate in the Fuji 24h endurance race in June, as well as the Super Taikyu endurance series held in Mogi, etc. Nissan's motorsports reflect their expertise. The Nissan Z continues to maintain its exciting sports car status, with its driving dynamics and flexible powertrains also fascinating.
