The love for trucks is overwhelming, and the Volvo FH is modified again, and the guy makes the scrapped car "Nirvana rebirth"

Today I will share with you a warm story about trucks and truck drivers. The protagonist of the story is a 29-year-old guy from Europe. The other protagonist of the story is the Volvo truck below.

In August 2020, a severe accident occurred on the Schiphol Bridge on the A9 highway in the Netherlands. A heavily modified second-generation Volvo FH rear-ended the car in front and was completely damaged.

Picture of the accident scene, the cab completely fell off, the front grille was damaged, and most of the front right of the vehicle was torn off. It has no repair value and is completely scrapped. Fortunately, its owner, Chris Sollie, who is the protagonist of our story, escaped safely under its protection without major harm.

Our protagonist Chris Sollie, 29 years old this year, has been a truck driver since 2018. The first truck is this second-generation FH, second-hand. Although the car is many years old, it is still operating well. Chris Sollie modified the truck according to his own taste, changed the vehicle to orange and white color, added a light box and air horn, and sprayed the bumper in silver. In addition to these, some other details were modified.

Chris Sollie originally planned to drive this second-generation FH truck, but the accident forced this plan to be terminated. With the help of Volvo Trucks, Chris Sollie used a leased fourth-generation FH truck to continue the transportation work. The new FH left a good impression on it. Coupled with his dissatisfaction with his old friend's second-generation FH, he finally decided to buy a new Volvo FH and refit it significantly to recreate its soul.

Finally, he bought a fourth-generation FH. This truck uses a 500-horsepower D13TC engine,With I-Save kit, Globetrotter XL cab, with dynamic steering system and conventional I-Shift gearbox. At the same time, modification kits are also being prepared.

By the end of 2020, unmodified vehicles will be delivered. It uses a pure white background, and the logo on the side of the cab has been removed for later modification. After picking up the car, the car was sent to Jan Voortman Autoschade for color modification. The main body and side skirts of the vehicle are painted with fresh, thick cream and orange, and the bumper adopts the same silver metallic paint as the damaged second-generation FH, creating an excellent contrast effect. Clearer cream and orange colors and better surface treatment make this car more youthful, and blue is better than blue.

In order to fit the line design of the vehicle, the interior of the headlights is also painted orange to make the visual effect of the front and side transition areas of the vehicle smoother and more integrated. In the beginning, not many modification manufacturers were willing to try to paint the interior of the headlight assembly, which was too risky. But under the obsession of Chris Sollie, a refitting factory took over the job. After

, the vehicle was handed over to the body manufacturer Ard Houweling Totaal Maintenance for detailed modification. First of all, the vehicle is equipped with a bullpen from the Swedish company Trux. The bullpen is equipped with four auxiliary lights. Oka players must be very familiar with this brand.

Above the windshield, a sun visor from Solarguard and a rectangular light box are installed. The light box is the abbreviation of Chris Sollie. Luminous Michelin dolls are installed on both sides of the light box. Behind the doll is a pair of NedKing air horns. As there was still a lot of roof space left, Chris Sollie installed additional warning lights and light stands, armed to the teeth.

is not just the roof,The underside of the car has also been modified. The lower lip of the bumper is painted silver. In order to fit the style of the vehicle, yellow lights are installed under the bumper, and there are additional fenders.

On the working platform behind the cab, the Volvo logo is cut out on the steel plate, and the orange LED backlight is used for high recognition.

Not only the exterior, but the interior has also been greatly modified. The original interior was completely removed, the plastic parts were painted in cream, and the leather and other parts were dyed red. It took more than two weeks to modify the interior, but the result was very satisfactory. The whole design was in line with Chris Sollie's taste.

Leather contrasting color interiors, sun blinds, etc. are not absent, and there is a huge refrigerator and coffee machine under the bed. Above the head of the main driver, an LCD TV was installed using the original VESA bracket in the cab. In order to allow more internal space, Chris Sollie chose a single-sleeper configuration with storage shelves installed on the upper level.

Logo on the pedal of the vehicle: Hand wash at 35 degrees.

After months of hard work, this truck was successfully delivered to Chris Sollie in February this year. He is very satisfied with the truck. "This is the best tribute to my last old friend." Chris Sollie said. This fourth-generation Volvo FH will replace the damaged second-generation FH, and will continue on the road of life in a safer and better way.

Finally, they are presented with a group photo of their "family of three", the smiling and happy young couple, and the handsome "big" at the back BOY", anyone who sees such a picture can't help but envy them.
