The BMW M5 has become one of the most interesting high-performance cars ever. The current BMW M5 generation debuted in 2018 and broke the performance limit with excessive power and physical handling. A year later, BMW raised the stakes with a more powerful M5 competition model. In 2022, this four rocket launcher will be integrated with the M5 CS.
BMW claims that the 2022 M5 CS will be the fastest and most powerful BMW production car ever. Compared with the M5 competition, its power is only 10 horsepower. More importantly, it reduced the weight by 230 pounds. The weight reduction is attributed to more carbon fiber body parts and reduced sound insulation. The number of seats has also been reduced by one, reducing the number of passengers to four. The new rear seats are independent racing buckets with side support pads that are as deep as the front seats.
When the M5 CS starts production, it should be completely different from the regular M5. Instead of the typical chrome-plated or brushed metal exterior, CS will use gold bronze (such as rose gold, but less pink) around the grille and decoration. The hood will also have more aggressive bumps and vents. Three colors are available: Brands Hatch Gray, Frozen Brands Hatch Gray Metallic and Frozen Deep Green Metallic.
If all this sounds tempting, then you better act quickly. BMW will only provide the M5 CS in 2022. The company has previously provided CS versions of other M department models, but this is the first time it has applied it to the M5.

This is 10 hp higher than M5 competing products, and even if the peak torque is the same, delivery will be faster. BMW said it will reach a speed of 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the M5 competition. The maximum speed is limited to 190 mph.
