Nissan China recently announced its sales results in China for November 2020. Nissan’s sales in China in November were 156,319 units, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year. Among them, Dongfeng Nissan sold 126609 units, an increase of 10.3% year-on-year. Dongfeng Nissan has eight consecutive Positive monthly growth.
Although the traditional off-season started, Nissan China achieved positive growth in November thanks to the strong market demand for passenger cars, especially Dongfeng Nissan’s significant growth. In terms of different models, in November, Nissan’s seventh-generation Teana ALTIMA sales 13,643 units, a year-on-year increase of 32.1%, Sylphy series sold 65,098 units, a year-on-year increase of 23.3%, and Tiida TIIDA sold 7,283 units, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%, driving the growth of Dongfeng Nissan's sedan models. Nissan's seventh-generation Teana ALTIMA and Sylphy series both set the best sales record in November. Qijun sold 17,932 units, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%.

Nissan China Management Committee Chairman Yamazaki Shohira said that Nissan's China region and its passenger car business segments and Dongfeng Nissan have grown against the trend and sales remain stable. The Nissan-exclusive Super Variant engine equipped on the seventh-generation Teana and the ProPILOT ultra-smart driving technology on the seventh-generation Teana, X-Jun, Qashqai and other models are becoming more and more popular among Chinese consumers. In 2019, including imported cars, passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, Nissan's sales in China exceeded 1.54 million. From January to November 2020, the cumulative sales of Nissan Motor in China were 1,287,821 units, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6%.
