BMW’s classic retro car model R nineT has released a 2021 minor redesign. In addition to the standard version of the R nineT, this remodeling also includes three derivative models of Pure, Scrambler, and Urban G/S. There are minor upgrades in engine, instrumentation and equipment. In order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the GS car series, BMW also launched the R nineT Edition 40 Years GS limited edition color scheme.
2021 BMW R nineT This revision is mainly for Euro 5 emission regulations. Some adjustments have been made to the power part. After replacing the new cylinder head and throttle valve, the maximum horsepower is reduced by 1hp compared to the previous one, which becomes 109 hp / 7250 rpm. The maximum torque is maintained at 116 Nm / 6000rpm. In addition, BMW adopts a new swirl system for the inside of the cylinder, which can improve combustion efficiency, enhance torque performance and reduce exhaust pollution. In terms of
equipment, the 2021 R nineT is fully equipped with ABS Pro and DBC dynamic braking systems as standard, providing stronger safety performance. The shock absorber part has also been updated, and two new functions, "WAD stroke related shock absorber" and "preload quick adjustment knob" have been added to provide better comfort and convenience. Electronic control: Rain and standard riding modes are the default configuration, which can also be seen in the basic model. The appearance of the instrument is more classic, with an LED display in the double round watch, and a USB charging port to facilitate the rider to charge mobile phones and other electronic devices.
2020 is also the 40th birthday of the BMW Motorrad GS family. R nineT has launched the classic color scheme of the R nineT Edition 40 Years GS in this facelift. Based on the Urban G/S model, it adopts black and yellow wasp colors. To pay tribute to the classic BMW R 100 GS Paris Dhaka race car color scheme, BMW Motorrad said that this color scheme will be sold in limited quantities, but it has not announced how many cars are limited.
