looks like a classic Porsche 356 Speedster, but in fact, it is a modern Boxster. Will this be the ultimate car for passionate driving on Sunday? This modification project was created by the British company Iconic Autobody, named Iconic Autobody 387 Speedster. As the name suggests, it is based on the second generation 987 Boxster. Tuners applied the 356-inspired bodywork in a retro Speedster layout. However, unlike the classic model, this project uses an electric folding roof to make it more versatile and modern. Polished metal trims decorate the body in a truly classic form, and traditional round headlights use modern LED technology. In addition, there is a rear spoiler with electric deployment and side air intakes for a mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six engine.
We especially like its 19-inch split alloy wheels, which are designed to look like traditional steel wheels. They really match up and perfectly match the 356 Speedster theme. The windshield is also ultra-low, and uses a rake design to create a classic flying car shape. The interior has also been remodeled, although it uses the Boxster layout instead of the classic 356 decoration. Passengers can enjoy heated seats wrapped in custom leather and Porsche Pepita fabric, air conditioning, trip computer and all the common features of the 987 Boxster you expect.
