Indeed, as a current "old master", I have driven more than 2,000 kilometers in the past three days, and the same journey is nearly 2 hours slower than before. When I heard this sentence before, I didn't think it was true, but now it seems that it is indeed true.
When I got my driver's license for the first time, I said, "Newborn calves are not afraid of tigers." I like the feeling of speed and control. I know only a little about the rules, but I have no fear. I can drive as fast as I want. But now I am more familiar with the rules, I have seen more painful lessons, and more importantly, I have more responsibilities on my shoulders, so I am more careful and more fearful.
"The old masters are getting more and more timid." This does not mean that they are getting timid, but that they have a stronger sense of responsibility and are more responsible. In the same way, as a person grows up in his life, from being carefree to being the head of the family, as he grows up, he takes on more and more responsibilities, whether it is for his family, relatives, or society. When people have responsibilities, they will have pressure and more scruples, so they will become more and more careful. When faced with gains and losses, they need to weigh more, because a temporary choice may cause greater harm and more serious consequences.
