[Original by Dongchedi Product] Recently, Mitsubishi's new XFC concept SUV was officially released. The car is positioned as a compact SUV and is of the same level as the Mitsubishi Outlander . According to Mitsubishi Motors, the mass-produced XFC model will be mainly sold to the Southeast Asian market in the future and is expected to be mass-produced by mid-2023.
Based on the alliance relationship between Renault - Nissan - Mitsubishi , Mitsubishi released the new generation of Jinxuan ASX with the replacement of Renault Correbin in September. However, unlike this, the new XFC concept SUV unveiled this time was independently developed by Mitsubishi. Therefore, there is no longer any shadow of Nissan or Renault in terms of design language, technology platform, etc.
From a design perspective, the front face style of Mitsubishi XFC concept car has got rid of the Dynamic Shield design language used by Mitsubishi models. Mitsubishi calls the new design style of the XFC concept car "Robust & Ingenious" (literally translated as strong and dexterous in Chinese). Among them, the front grille of the new car is composed of a single-piece air intake, and the front and rear light groups have a T-shaped design with a unified style. It is expected that the above styling elements are expected to be retained in the mass-produced version of the car. In terms of interior, the entire interior of the Mitsubishi XFC concept car adopts a light gray color scheme, and its LCD instrument panel and multimedia display are one-piece suspended processing. At the same time, the vehicle's interior control buttons are all touch-controlled, and the air conditioner air outlet has a hidden design. Since the car is currently in a concept car, you can also see the futuristic exterior rearview mirror streaming display on both sides of the center console.
At present, Mitsubishi has not yet announced the power information of the XFC concept car. It is expected that the mass-produced version of the car may provide a traditional fuel power system. However, Mitsubishi said the car will be equipped with a driving mode selection system, including road, slippery, gravel and mud. The car will then be unveiled at the Vietnam Auto Show, which will open on October 26.
