Recently, Geely officially released the official picture of the "Big 7-seat flagship SUV" - Haoyue L model. Previously, the new car has been declared on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Judging from some parameters, the Haoyue L is larger than the previous Haoyue model and adopts a new appearance design, which will be positioned as a 7-seater mid-size SUV. It is reported that the new car will be officially released and launched within 2022.
From the preview pictures released this time, the new car shows a new front face design. The large-size front air intake grille is paired with a straight waterfall-style center grille design. The headlight group on both sides is more vivid. Combined with the polygonal heat dissipation openings on both sides, the aura of the new car is well displayed. At the same time, the preview picture also shows that the new car will adopt a 7-seat space layout to bring a more practical riding experience.
According to the declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the appearance design of Haoyue L is the same as the preview picture. The fender ribs on the side of the car body are combined with the concave line design under the door, plus the thick side skirts and 18-inch/19-inch optional five-spoke wheels, which further enhance the heaviness of the new car. The rear part of the car is equipped with a roof spoiler and a through-type smoked taillight group. The light sources inside the main body of the taillights on both sides are also very recognizable after lighting up. The rear surround of the new car adopts a two-color design, and the two-sided chrome exhaust layout adds some sporty atmosphere. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4860/1910/1770 (1840) mm, and the wheelbase is 2825mm, which is 25mm longer and 10mm higher than the current Haoyue car. In terms of power, the new car will use a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 218 horsepower and a maximum torque of 325 Nm, which is stronger than Haoyue's 1.8 T engine. In terms of suspension system, Haoyue L uses the combination of front McPherson independent suspension + rear multi-link independent suspension, which has a better driving experience.
