In April this year, the Ministry of Transport issued a "Sunshine Action" on online taxi commissions to various provinces. The rules stipulate that all platforms must publicly display the commission ratio to create a good working environment. After the action was announced, platforms such as , including , Meituan , , Didi , and Yihe Hitchhiking, launched the commission ratio public announcement function. However, industry insiders found that as a bureau and online taxi platform, Gaode Taxi has played a trick in the public announcement of the commission ratio.
1. The commission changes at any time
According to the official software, the calculation method used in Gaode's commission calculation is: platform commission ratio = total amount paid by passengers - driver's labor remuneration ÷ amount before passenger discount. Although the algorithm of
is completely disclosed, according to the commission page of a driver of Xiehua Travel, a subsidiary of Gaode Travel, we can see that with the floating space of the passenger's discount amount, the commission ratio of Gaode also changes greatly. For example, if the passenger pays 10 yuan and the driver's income is 8 yuan, the platform's commission ratio is 20%, but if the passenger's discount amount is 2 yuan, the actual payment is 10 yuan, and the driver's income remains unchanged, the commission ratio announced by the platform can instantly be reduced to 16%.
not only travel with China, but also the proportional commissions of other platforms are also in a "change" state, 20% at once, 28% at once, and even among them, there are commissions as high as nearly 40%.
2. The commission is as high as nearly 40%
According to a short video leak by a driver who has been working in Gaode for many years, most of the commissions of Gaode are in the range of 28%-38%, and the income per kilometer of drivers is only 1.6 yuan. Not only that, relevant online car-hailing surveys show that in terms of Gaode's real proportion of commission, nearly half of the drivers choose Gaode's commission ratio "greater than 30%" account for nearly half, reaching 47%. About 34% of the drivers choose the "20%-30%" commission ratio option, and only 20% of the drivers choose the option "less than 20%".
In other words, in a sense, Gaode is simply a "ruthless" existence than Didi. Most drivers are not overly surprised. They said that this is just a common operation on the platform. As drivers, they can only bear it silently, and it is useless to reflect it.
I don’t know if it is because of such insatiable behavior. Gaode has made a profit some time ago, but while making profits, whether it can still gain a good reputation in the future and even become a good software for national taxi. Everything is unknown. It can only be said that Gaode still has a long way to go.
