If the steering continues to be difficult, it may be that the front tire pressure is insufficient or the rolling bearing and sliding bearing in various parts of the steering system are too tight to cause jamming.
It may also be caused by improper adjustment of the front wheel toe, or the vehicle's front car or frame being bent. In addition, missing or excessive leakage of steering assist fluid can also cause steering effort.
2. Steering wheel direction deviation
When driving or braking, the vehicle will automatically veer to one side of the road. This is generally caused by asymmetry in tire pressure between the left and right tires. In more serious cases, it may be that the suspension parts are aging and wearing out, causing the left and right clearances to be different, causing the steering wheel to deviate. 3. Steering wheel shaking
When the vehicle is driving, the steering wheel shakes strongly and the chassis makes periodic abnormal noises. This is because the balance of the steering wheel transmission device is broken. Mainly check whether there is any problem with the rubber sleeve of the steering wheel transmission device and whether the bolts fixing the steering wheel transmission device are loose. It may also be that the drive shaft and spline shaft are excessively worn.
4. There is an abnormal noise in the steering wheel.
When driving at medium speed and on an uneven road, there is a "click-click" sound when the steering wheel is turned. First, check whether the brakes were pressed or the steering wheel was turned after turning on the steering switch. If it is not the case above, then it is necessary to determine the direction of the sound.
If the sound comes from under the steering wheel, check the steering column dust cover. The lack of lubrication in the steering column dust cover will produce frictional sounds. Generally, as long as you apply some oil in the dust cover, the sound will disappear.
If the sound comes from the steering wheel, it is mostly caused by the interference of the airbag hairspring in the steering wheel. Remove the steering wheel airbag hairspring and apply some butter. If there is still an abnormal sound, the airbag hairspring may be damaged and the airbag hairspring needs to be replaced. .
