As early as the beginning of this year, Toyota announced that users who purchased the "New Toyota Land Cruiser" and " Lexus LX" may have to wait up to four years to pick up the car. In January this year, Toyota Motor stated: "The new Land Cruiser is very popular not only in the Japanese market but also around the world, and it is expected to take a lot of time to deliver. When ordering from now (January 19) , the delivery time may be about four years, and we do our best to shorten the delivery time for customers.” In February, Lexus also announced on its official website, “We deeply apologize for the new LX announced on January 12. Because it takes a lot of time to arrive after ordering, it could take around four years for us to deliver your car." In other words, if you buy the new Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus LX, you will not be able to take delivery of the car until 2026.
The reason why the "new Toyota Land Cruiser" and "Lexus LX" models will not be available for delivery until 2026 was not disclosed by Toyota or Lexus officials at that time.
