June 8, 2022 - Jidu held its first brand launch conference ROBODAY in Xirang, Yuanverse, and officially released its first automotive robot concept car ROBO-01, which demonstrated the active deformable structure design and 3D unbounded integration for the first time. Futuristic
Adhering to futuristic design ideas, the Jidu concept car ROBO-01 not only cancels all physical control keys such as door handles, shift levers, and left and right paddles, but also eliminates components such as the steering wheel, air-conditioning vents, and exterior sensors. In the design, a highly integrated design scheme is adopted. In addition, the 3D unbounded integrated ultra-clear large screen installed in the car is a truly integrated, non-stitched screen. Wu Fan said that based on the pursuit of "futurism" and minimalism, Jidu's first mass-produced car will be simpler than ROBO-01. The two front roof cameras will have no raised design and will be hidden.

Jidu ROBO-01 has the ability to recognize user emotions and can interact with the outside world about its own status and emotions. The external speech recognition function can realize natural communication between "people-vehicle-environment".
Jidu said that the traditional car light design, its function and price ratio have obviously lagged behind the development of technology. As an important communication window with the outside world, AI pixel headlights will become standard features of smart cars in the future.
