In the reign of Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty, a monk named Daohai from Zhenrong Temple formed a hundred monks' associations.

In the summer of that year, in March, the monks recited the Avatamsaka Sutra. On April 8, the Buddha's birthday, in order to facilitate the public's bathing of the Buddha, they used the best medicine to cook the Buddha bathing soup, and set up a good incense room. Before bathing the Buddha, preparations are also made for all the monks in the temple. Everyone must bathe and purify themselves before worshiping the Buddha.

So he first politely invited the elders in the temple to take a bath. After the elders entered the bathroom, they began to undress and prepare to take a bath. They heard the sound of washing in the bathroom, so they took a closer look.

Seeing several children with skin colors like gold and jade, the elder who was the head of the elders felt strange and asked:

"Where are you from?"

Those innocent children looked at each other and smiled, but it didn't mean anything.

The elder came out of the bathroom and said to the bath master:

"The monks have not bathed yet. Where did the young man come from here to bathe first?"

The bath master was shocked and hurriedly went in to take a look. He saw that the room was full of light, the fragrance was condensed, but there was no one left. Only then did everyone understand that it was a holy sign, so they each put on their monk's robes and chanted, and then took the bath one by one.

Those who take a bath feel light and bright in body and mind for a moment, with an indescribable subtle happiness. This feeling of lightness and lightness disappears only after seven days.
