The symbol of Mount Wutai is the Big White Pagoda . The full name of the Dabai Pagoda is the Pagoda of the True Body Relic of Sakyamuni Buddha. This shape is more common in Tibet, Mongolia and Southeast Asia, and is relatively rare in Han temples.
Wutai Mountain, Putuo, Emei and Jiuhua are collectively known as the four famous Buddhist mountains, but it is the only one that combines Chinese and Tibetan Buddhism. Folks have this analogy: Jin Wutai , Silver Putuo, Tong Emei and Tie Jiuhua. It is said that Buddhism is boundless, but the secular world still has to talk about ranking. Why is Mount Wutai ranked first?
