Lao Tzu was a great philosopher and thinker in the pre-Qin period of China. He advocated Tao following nature and had a profound impact on the development of Chinese philosophy. Obviously, if people make a choice, life according to Confucius' thoughts will be hard and difficult, and life according to Lao Tzu's thoughts will be peaceful and comfortable. The real attitude to life between the two of them illustrates this.

Huineng's "Nantun" is extremely similar to Lao Tzu's proposition. Both respect objective existence, do not belittle everyone's innate foundation, and emphasize everyone's inherent nature, so they must be much more peaceful and comfortable.
