Guangren Temple , the only Lama temple in Shaanxi, was a temple built during the Western Tour of Kangxi in 1703. It is also the only main dojo of green tara in the country.

Entering Guangren Temple, there is a screen wall facing you. The screen wall is the first barrier to enter the palace and temple, and it plays a role in blocking your sight. In the middle of the screen wall is a picture of a man driving a tiger. The picture of Mongolian people driving tigers is a traditional Tibetan Buddhist auspicious pattern, Mongolian warriors, tigers, and iron chains symbolize the three protectors of Buddhist Tantric Buddhism, warriors symbolize compassion, Guanyin Bodhisattva , tigers symbolize wisdom, Manjushri Bodhisattva , and iron chains symbolize virtuous Vajra Bodhisattva .

Bypassed the screen wall, I saw a pavilion. The pavilion contained the "Imperially Made Guangren Temple Stele" written by Kangxi. There is an exquisitely carved monument in front of the pavilion. This is the original monument in the pavilion. It was lost due to damage and was dug out from the ground during the later infrastructure construction and placed in front of the monument.

Behind the stele pavilion is the main hall Thousand-hand Guanyin Hall. The koi in the release pond is huge, colorful, active and energetic, making people feel suddenly.

0 The front plaque of the main hall of Thousand-hand Guanyin Hall "Guangren Temple" was written by Mr. Zhao Puchu, former president of the Chinese Buddhist Association , who came to Guangren Temple in 1986. The Thousand-Hand Guanyin (a double-sided Thousand-Hand Guanyin statue) in the main offering in the hall is a statue of a Bodhisattva carved with gold on the whole body. It is 6.6 meters high and weighs about 2 tons. It is currently the highest Thousand-Hand Guanyin in Shaanxi Province. There are also Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Padmasambhava in the hall, and the four heavenly kings are enshrined on both sides. The plaque on the other side of the hall is written with "Secret Treasures and Sages", and the Buddhist "Secret Treasures" refers to the extraordinary and rare things. On the walls on both sides of the door are two Shambhalapa pictures (the picture depicts the six paths of reincarnation). Shambala Thangka (the unique art form in Tibetan culture has a history of 1,000 years) is painted with pure natural mineral pigments. Its biggest feature is that it does not fade for a long time. "Shangri-La" is the Sanskrit of the ancient Tianzhu Kingdom, which means peace and happiness. It is translated as "Shambala" in Tibetan. It is the "Northern Pure Land that the world pursues day and night."

There is a lamp pavilion in front of the door, which is a ancient lamp, which was found at the beginning of the construction of the temple. Because this lamp is always bright, it is called eternal lamp or ten thousand years of lamp. The lamp oil is filled with full capacity to hold 108 kilograms of oil. In Buddhism, offering lamps can eliminate ignorance and ignorance and increase wisdom.

West side hall is the Longevity Hall, where three longevity holy gods are offered in the hall: Infinite Buddha Birth, Victory Buddha Mother , and White Tara. On both sides are the Void Zangpusa, the Four-Armed Guanyin Bodhisattva, the Medicine Buddha and the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. The plaque in front of the hall, "Soul of Buddha Land" was written by Kang Youwei when he visited Guangren Temple in person. Many scriptures are placed on the exhibition shelves on both sides of the hall gate for visitors to read and understand.

The main hall is the main hall in the center of the main hall, the Green Tara Bodhisattva is worshipped, Manjushri Bodhisattva is worshipped to the west, and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is worshipped to the east. The plaque in the hall, "Ciyun Xiyin" was written by Emperor Kangxi.

There is a semi-closed management century-old Bodhi tree on the west side of the main hall. This Bodhi was transplanted from Bodhi Gaya, India in 2014. It took thousands of kilometers to arrive at Guangren Temple for three years.

Golden Wa Hall (Sutra Pavilion) Plaque "Buddhist Holy Land" was written by Kangxi.
Central Lord worships Sakyamuni's twelve-year-old mantra and a 9.9-meter-high Maitreya Buddha, called Khampa Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism. The second floor contains 600 volumes of the Ming version of " Great Prajna Paramita Sutra " revised in 1710, which is currently the most complete set in the country. The relics tower on the west side of the temple are enshrined in the Sakyamuni real bone relics donated by the Thai royal family.

南安全号 In front of the building there are two orchid cypresses , which are cypresses hanging in the clothes of Empress Dowager Cixi. That year, Empress Dowager Cixi traveled west to Xi'an to live in Guangren Temple, and put her hairpin on the trunk of a tree hanging clothes.

At 3:30 pm, it happened to be the afternoon class of the lamas. In front of the Thousand Buddha Hall, a lama blew the trumpet and the chanting of scriptures began.
