Mount Wutai is named because its five main peaks are gentle and like a platform with earth. It is the temple of Manjushri Bodhisattva , which symbolizes wisdom, and ranks first among the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism. The five Dharma bodies of Manjushri Bodhisattva are worshipped on the tops of the five platforms, also known as the Five Directions of Manjushri.
Mount Wutai was called Qingliangshan . The average temperature throughout the year is -2 degrees Celsius, and the extreme high temperature in summer is only 20 degrees. It is a good summer resort around Beijing.
worship of Mount Wutai is the dream of many Buddhist believers. They call worshiping Dailuoding a small court platform, and going up the five towers to worship the five directions Manjushri a great court platform. It is said that completing the practice of the Great Court Platform is equivalent to five hundred years.
Then, let’s talk about the time travel of Mount Wutai. If you leave from the Beijing Railway, there are only two trains.
Usually, everyone will choose K601, that is, arrive at Wutaishan Station at 4:30, and then the bus goes to Hongmenyan (the fee is about 25 yuan, about an hour). The bus ends at Taihuai Town , which is the scenic spot. You pass by Hongmenyan in the middle, and Hongmenyan is also the starting point for many hikers to start hiking.
Wutai Mountain has a similar latitude to Beijing, but its climate is similar to that of Daxinganling , with a large temperature difference between day and night. Even in midsummer, the east platform at 5 a.m. is trembling with cold wind. When hiking, you must bring fleece jacket and windbreaker, it will be very cold in the morning and evening.

Dongtaiding also known as Wanghai Peak , with an altitude of 2796 meters. "Qingliang Mountain Records" records: Steaming clouds and sleeping in the valleys, refreshing air and clear autumn, looking east at the bright clouds, like ponds and land, it is the sea. I also saw the states of Cangying, so I took it as a name.
Climbing the Wanghai Tower, looking far away, you can reach Fuping, Hebei Province, and you can see the Bohai Sea in Shandong Province, as the ancients said; climbing to the top of the East Platform, you can see the Haiying.
Whenever the rising sun rises, the tranquil Wanghai Temple is completely immersed in a sea of clouds, mountains and mists, and with the thick morning bells, it becomes more solemn and dignified.
After going down the mountain from Dongtai, heading towards Beitai, it can be reached in about 4 hours. This is also the highest peak of Mount Wutai, and is called " North China Roof".
You can reach Beitai around noon.

On the way to North Taiwan to Zhongtai, the way is stinky fir protection area. The stinky fir is also called North China fir , stinky pine , and Dongling Fir. It is produced in the southern slope of the Little Xing'an Mountains in Northeast China, Changbai Mountains and Zhangguangcailing at an altitude of 300-1800 meters, the Little Wutai Mountain in Hebei, Wuling Mountain , Weichang and Wutai Mountain in Shanxi 1700-2100 meters above sea level.

Regarding accommodation, it is reported that each station can accommodate, but the conditions vary. It is recommended to stay in Lion Nest.
Lion Nest is located on Zhulin Ridge (also known as Lion Ring ) in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province. It is adjacent to Zhulin Temple in the east and Jinge Temple in the south. It is the key to the second Taiwan in the middle and west. It is connected to Wutai . Lion Nest is one of the famous great temples in Wutai Mountain. It is surrounded by mountains and ridges, clouds and mist, green pines and cypresses, and lush green pine and cypresses.
According to the legend, a long time ago, Manjushri Bodhisattva came east from the Indian Buddha Kingdom, which was thousands of miles apart, and walked to the bamboo forest ridge of Mount Wutai. The immortal lion stopped and roared constantly, just like thunder. Manjushri Bodhisattva was a great wise saint. He suddenly realized that my Buddha spread the Dharma and was a lion roar. It seems that this place must be the place for spreading the Dharma. Then he clicked a temple, recited the origin of the immortal lion, and named it "Lion's Nest."
From then on, the Bodhisattva traveled to Wutai and built temples one by one to practice Dharma. As a result, Mount Wutai became a Buddhist holy land and a temple for Manjushri.
(Lion of Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda)
00 Buddha Pagoda is a representative building of the Lion's Nest Manjushu Temple. It has a total of thirteen floors. Since the pagoda is composed of glass Buddha statues, and it is exactly ten thousand Buddhas built inside and outside the pagoda, it is called: Glazed Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda.
The newly built building in the temple in 2012 is convenient for hikers to check in. It costs 50 yuan a night, including a dinner and breakfast. It is said that you need to make an appointment in advance.
During the meal, pay attention to how much you eat and how much you serve, and don’t waste it.
Next, early the next morning, we set out on the road to Nantai.
Finally, you will reach Buddha Mother Cave , take the bus to Baiyun Temple , and then take the local tourist bus to go down the foot of the mountain. Buddha Mother Cave is also known as Thousand Buddha Cave . It is a limestone cave. When people enter the cave, they are "reincarnated Buddha Mother" and are nurtured by their kindness; when they leave the cave, they are "rebirth of Buddha Mother" and are reborn. The believers and tourists who worship Mount Wutai are constantly climbing to the Buddha Mother Cave, and they need to queue up here for three or four hours every day.

1. Wutai Mountain has a microclimate, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is large. You must wear a fleece jacket and a windbreaker.
