There is an ancient temple in the small village in the south of Xi'an. It is surrounded by many tall buildings. It is actually a quiet place for the downtown city.
Temple was built in the Sui Dynasty and is close to Daxingcheng , so it is called Daxingshan Temple . When Daxingshan Temple was collecting tickets in the 1990s, I used a reporter's certificate instead of the ticket to go in and toured in the rain. I felt like I had entered the cool world. I also ate vegetarian , and remembered Zheng Gu "Inscription on Xingshan Temple's Silent People's Courtyard" "After the guests came to the storm, the courtyard was quiet and desolate." The one who remembered the most at that time was the prayer wheel, which was rare in Chinese Buddhism, so I learned that this was the ancestral home of Tantric Buddhism. But I don’t understand Buddhism and don’t know what is the connection with the “Tanishism” of Tibetan Buddhism.
Last year, on a heavy snowy weekend. I wanted to take a photo of the "Ancient Temple in the Snow" and take the subway to get there. As a result, although the door opened, it was already late, and tourists could only go out but not in. I had to go to the door and patted the stone statues in the snow at the door. I saw the pedestrians coming and going, as well as suspected disabled people, travelers, wanderers or fortune tellers waiting in the snow to "make good relationships". In order to gain something, I had an idea and went to the construction site where the shopping mall was being renovated. I took advantage of the window that could only open a small crack and took a few pictures of the temples covered with silver, with red walls and white snow, carved railings and jade. I had the scene of "Bright and clear lotus guests, burning incense to the snow" and "A few rhymes of cold jade, the rest of the clear is not in the wind", and Liu Deren's "A lonely flag is suitable for snow, and I remember the mountains every time I see it."
The courtyards, trees and other landscapes of Daxingshan Temple are often mentioned by poets. Zhang Qiao "Inscription on the Deep Courtyard of the Monk and Taoist in Xingshan Temple": "The courtyard planted trees in other countries, and the temple showed the true masters." "Tree of other countries" refers to the "Bedo tree" in the courtyard that can write scriptures from India, but unfortunately I don't know it. The most common ones in the courtyard are ancient pine , and there are many stories. According to Duan Chengshi of the Tang Dynasty, there are many old pine trees in the Sanzang. "After drought, the officials cut down their trees to make dragon bones to pray for rain." There are also many poems about ancient pine, such as Xu Tang's "Inscription on Xingshan Temple Pine" with Xue Shiyu, Cui Tu "Inscription on Xingshan Temple and the Songyuan of Sui Dynasty and others will not arrive", which describe the essence of pine and the feelings of people.
When flowers bloomed this spring, I came to Daxing Shan Temple again. Looking for the "Back Hall Pool" in Tang poetry, I couldn't find Lu Lun "White cranes perched through the window, as if they were next to the mirror lake", but I saw "When the moon shines on the tree, how many times the flowers meet people." A "sweeping monk" slowly cleaned the flowers on the dust, which shocked the white doves flying from time to time, and some fell on the railings next to the release pond, as if Li Duan's "the brocade scales are still not eaten, and the embroidered feathers are singing in chaos". There are several poems written by the Tang people in the back hall, such as Lu Lun's "Inscription on the Back Pond of Xingshan Temple", Sikong Shu 's "Remembering Xingshan Temple Sent Miao Fa in the Autumn Night", Li Duan's "Sitting in the Back Pond of Xingshan Temple", etc. It can be seen that this pond was larger and more beautiful in the past. But it dried up during the Dali period of Emperor Daizong of Tang Dynasty, and it appeared again at the time of Emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty. The world changed and the water in the pond stopped flowing many times. Now it can only look for its fragrance in the ancients' chants.
Two days ago, I went to the 52-story Information Building on the South Second Ring Road to climb. The rain passes by the sunny weather , and through the tall buildings, you can leisurely see the southern mountains. Between the modern buildings, there is an antique building covered with trees and red walls and golden tiles. After a closer look, it turned out to be Daxing Shan Temple. In the setting sun, it is even more magnificent. After a while, when the surrounding buildings were still sunny, the place slowly became quiet. After the sun sets, the surrounding high-rise buildings are shining brightly. Daxingshan Temple is completely integrated into the black. It is not like some temples. At night, the lights are still shining, and the fire trees and silver flowers are everywhere.
It seems that this is a quiet place, a poetic place, and a place where you can be meditated. But slowly being disturbed by others has become a relatively famous "Internet celebrity" check-in place. In winter, people are shooting wintersweets, long spears and short cannons drones, shutters, live broadcasts, and noisy sounds, shocking one white dove after another. In spring, there are people taking pictures of cherry blossoms here, and in summer and autumn, it becomes the shooting place for the "flower of the other side". Maybe what can they discover in winter? There will be no peace all year round. In the near future, Daxing Shanyu Temple may become Ci'en Temple in Dayan Pagoda and Qinglong Temple, and gradually lose its original appearance.
