In the 6th century BC, Raft Mona Enlightenment under the Sara tree and founded Jain . This is one of the anti-Brahman " " that was anti-Brahmanism. The era of the various countries is very similar to China's hrs during the Spring and Autumn Period. At that time, India had 16 small countries and countless small city-states. They each had independent and fought endlessly. In such a turbulent environment, the thoughts were unprecedentedly active, forming a situation where hundred schools of thought contend for .
Jainism founded by Radhamona is one of the sects.
Raft Mona is also known as "Nobita", which means a brave and fearless warrior. This is the respectful title of Jain believers to him
3 Jains will smear the ashes of charcoal fire on their bodies to show their contempt for the flesh.
Only after understanding the experience of Radomana can we truly understand the meaning of "Nobita".
In 599 BC, Fatumona was born in Gongde Village near Vaisya. His father, kshatriya caste, ruled a small kingdom of 1Benares .
Batumona has lived a stable and prosperous life since childhood. Later, she married and had a daughter. However, at the age of 30,Batumona's father passed away and his brothers fought endlessly. Tired of his palace life, he decided to become a monk and practice, looking for the meaning of life.
From then on, Radumona began a wandering journey, traveling everywhere.
He almost didn't bring any luggage, and often used hunger strikes to hone his mind, or crawled on the ground like a bug. The clothes were worn and torn, and he didn't care at all, and later he even begged naked.
In Nalanda Temple , he was misunderstood as a spy or thief sent by the enemy country. He suffered humiliation and was beaten by others, but he never argued. This kind of life lasted for a total of 12 years.
Finally, when he was 42 years old, he realized enlightenment under a Sala tree.
Batumana claims that "sentient beings are equal", and also says that there is karma and reincarnation that can eliminate the sufferings of this life, so a group of believers and followers have gathered together.
Because he opposed the Brahman caste system, he was warmly welcomed by the Kshatrian caste who held military and political power at that time, and the Vaisya big merchants who got rich in business.
At that time, India was said to have sixteen countries, and it was in the era of various countries, and hundreds of academic schools were contending.
However, Jainism was not the only religion that opposed Brahmanism at that time.
In addition to Jainism, there are many schools of thought, including Buddhism, Shunshi School , Agnostic School, etc. They are collectively called "Sammen Thought Trends". This period also became the axis era that laid the basic value of ancient Indian civilization.
Among them, because Buddhism is similar to Jainism's proposition, the two schools have sharp contradictions.
At the beginning of enlightenment, Fatumana led his disciples to preach in the Ganges basin and received support from kings such as Magatha Kingdom , Abanti Kingdom and other kings. The king, prince, and many ministers in the court have become believers of Jainism. Fatumana does not have to worry about offerings.
However, later Buddhism emerged, and the kings built a bamboo forest temple for the Buddha and asked him to promote Buddhism here. The prince and others also converted to Buddhism, , and even became monks.
The Jain power was excluded because it had a problem that ordinary people could not accept.
Compared with Buddhism, Jain believers practice more strictly. Long-term asceticism and even naive rest makes them feel bone-bone and always dirty.
Radhamona came to the royal court as a wise man. The nobles were keen on wise men, but this way of practice was very unfavorable to the image of Jainism, and it was completely different from the wisdom and majestic wise men in people's imagination.
Radoumona has a reputation, and his disciples do not have the halo of wise men, and their image is very bad in people's eyes.
In addition, strict Jains will not be butchers, join soldiers, or even refusal to plow the fields.
For them, even if they step on a ant or kill a fly, the crimes they committed are no different from murder. Religious norms such as
are too heavy.
Today’s Jains wear masks to prevent breathing and killing microorganisms.
So, facing the increasingly powerful Buddhism, Jainism gradually lost.
Faotumana has never met Buddha , but their disciples always fight openly and secretly.
A king was once harmed by ghosts and gods. After receiving the help of the Buddha, he was able to eliminate disasters and solve problems. The people were grateful and provided countless offerings to the Buddha.
The believers of ratumana became dissatisfied and started a debate, but they were speechless by the monks. There are many similar debates. The Buddha often takes action himself and teaches his disciples' debate skills. Jainism often does not take advantage of it.
Raft Dumona originally had no intention of fighting, but a huge blow came unexpectedly.
His confidant disciple Upoli The elder changed to Buddhism after persuasion.
It is said that after hearing this news, Baudumona was deeply sad and angry, vomiting blood and died.
After the death of Radhamona, there were more than 5,000 believers. His disciples continued to spread the Jainism's proposition, and later Jainism developed into one of the important traditional religions in India.
