Photography by Marta Bevacqua
Marta Bevacqua (Marta Bevacqua) is an Italian photographer living in Paris.
Marta Bevacqua is an introvert and a little shy, simple person who likes to read, write, and likes to take photos. Very attached to nature.
Marta Bevacqua attempts to express the story through the art of photography. A story that everyone can understand and imagine. She has become accustomed to living in her own fairy tales and whimsical world, and her works are rich in visual narrative.
Marta Bevacqua permeates an exciting purpose photography with an extraordinary, unshakable charm, pleasing vision in pure beauty.
years have shaped this creative expert, slowly shaping a unique photographic sound with her kind, soft and elegant narrative. Marta's work is as exciting as the most authentic nature of art, opening up the sublime edge of elegance for further interpretation.
"I think this is a very spontaneous thing. I cherish following my intuition, my style slowly develops and eventually becomes delicate romance. During the shooting process, I always try to find the best situation, everything will naturally balance and I don't need to push further." Bevacqua said modestly.
Her vision is feminine, calm, soft and idyllic -like purity.
"I try to reveal stories through my art. Stories that everyone can understand and imagine. I'm used to living in my own fairy tales and whimsical world, and in fact, my photos reflect my creative landscape to some extent."
The elegant eyes of women are the most prominent part of the work
Marta Bevacqua is very interested in film: because the shooting speed is slow, the results cannot be seen directly, and there is a need to think before pressing the shooting button.
In film photography, she tries to seize the perfect moment and feels what she is doing, especially because you are living in that particular moment. In addition, the film works beautifully, especially when it comes to lighting.
"Each art form is very different and can convey different stories through expressions and emotions. When you respect this difference, the true identity will appear," she reflects.
Her shooting starts with portraits, self-portraits, and friends and two sisters. She likes the emotions that eyes can give people.
Romantic and subtle
I usually get inspiration from a wide range of resources. I can get inspiration from a book, a movie or music. It could also be a beautiful place, a magic lamp or a model that caught my attention. Of course, the hundreds of pictures I see online every day also inspired me, but I want to say that ordinary life prompted me to capture the beauty I see every day. Once I feel the idea (it could be a concept, a specific scene, an emotion or even a small action), I usually do image research to define the idea in my mind (prepare a mood board if necessary) and be able to describe it to my team.Even if I know everything in my mind, I always improvise a lot in the end, which is my favorite.
From 2009, she participated in a group exhibition in London. Marta then worked with staff at Arcangel Images to create book covers – she continued to work on this freelancing career.
Finally, she became interested in fashion photography and shot an ad for Romeo Gigli Eyewear (2011) and then started advertising.
