He has served as a judge of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Government 10th "Sarina" Award and the 23rd Photography Art Award Selection Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He has served as vice chairman of the second, third and fourth CPPCC of Shiguai District CPPCC in Baotou City.

He Shaohua's photography works won the Gold Award for the Second Portrait Photography Art of Inner Mongolia, the Excellence Award for the 11th National Portrait Photography Art Exhibition, and the Bronze Award at the National "Man-Natural-Environment" Photography Exhibition. He won the gold medal at the Photography Art Exhibition for the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomacy between China and Mongolia and was collected by the Mongolian Art Museum. The works are exhibited in of the 11th Asian Art Festival. He won the second prize in the Inner Mongolia Photography Competition "Watch the Grassland with You".He won the Silver Award and Outstanding Works Award of the 25th and 29th China North China Photography Art Exhibition, and won the "Hundred Flowers Award" of the 8th and 9th Autonomous Region Photography Art.
