1. Static shooting focus. The little insect elves are agile and active by nature, and keep moving among flowers and plants, which brings great difficulties to the macro shooting of insects on mobile phones. To capture beautiful and cute insects, it is important to be good at seizing the opportunity. The "time" mentioned here is to take photos in a static state during the moment of insect nap. At this time, focus is relatively easy, and the phone lens can be directly aimed at the insect's eyes. After the focus point of the mobile phone macro lens (small circle) locks the insect's eyes, observe the focus accurately through the mobile phone screen and quickly press the shutter.
2. Dynamic shooting focus. Dynamic focus is difficult compared to static focus, but the insect photos taken under dynamic conditions are both dynamic and interesting. When shooting insect focus dynamically, you must first predict the insect's activity route, move the phone in advance to the predicted location where the insect appears, wait for the insect to enter the macro lens of the phone, focus quickly, and quickly press the shutter.
3. Continuous shooting focus. When shooting insects on a macro basis on your mobile phone, the insects often disappear in the blink of an eye. Because insects are very sensitive and alert to environmental changes around them, if there is a slight movement or if there is an external object within the field of view, the insects will react quickly. This moment is also the best time to photograph the body posture of the insect. When it is observed that the insects are about to fly, the macro shot of the mobile phone is aimed at the insect's body, and the continuous shooting is used to focus, and the insects are shot continuously in different postures in an instant. Afterwards, I slowly selected the photos.
or above are some of my personal experiences in shooting insects using mobile phone macro. They are not necessarily correct and are for reference only.
