I like photography in my spare time. The camera I use is a 70D, which I purchased in 2015. Due to high usage, I couldn’t press the shutter very well, and there were two dead pixels on the CCD array. So I decided to buy a new one as a New Year reward gift for myself, so I bought a 90D.
After coming out of Kunming University, I walked on Nanping Street and saw " Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan " carved on the stone wall, so I used these "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan" to try out my new camera:
The No. 1 Weird in Yunnan: Eggs are sold on skewers.
The second weird thing in Yunnan: a straw hat used as a pot lid.
The third strange thing in Yunnan: melons and fruits are undefeated all year round.
The fourth strange thing in Yunnan: There is a village in the big stone cave.
The fifth strange thing in Yunnan: It’s strange that grass can bite people.
The sixth weird thing in Yunnan: Bamboo tubes are sold as pots for cooking rice.
The seventh strange person in Yunnan: Trains are not as fast as cars.
The eighth strange person in Yunnan: Wear the same clothes in all seasons.
The ninth weirdo in Yunnan: It rains here and dries over there.
The tenth strange thing in Yunnan: Rice is planted outside the sky.
The eleventh strange thing in Yunnan: Bamboo tubes used as tobacco pouches.
The twelfth strange person in Yunnan: If you have something to say, just sing it instead.
The Thirteenth Oddity of Yunnan: Wearing the bamboo hat backwards.

Yunnan No. Eighteen Monsters : Dali Stones are sold as paintings.
Yunnan is a magical and beautiful place, and it is also a paradise for photography. There are many versions of the "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan" alone. The carvings on Nanping Street are just one of the versions, such as "Carrying a doll on her back to fall in love, an old lady climbing a mountain faster than a monkey, cars blocking domestic and foreign roads, who will plant the stone forest and soil forest, rice noodles crossing the bridge, everyone loves" and so on. Yes, so Yunnan has more than just the Eighteen Monsters, I'm afraid there are hundreds of weirdos. I bought this camera just to take pictures of the real "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan", instead of just "opportunistically" shooting all the "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan" on Nanping Street!
2022 is about to become a thing of the past and I will be looking into the future with my new camera. The last day of 2022 is a day of secret joy in my heart, because I have another beloved thing! You can use it to take pictures of my favorite Yunnan!
