It is difficult to record so many cultural features in one article, but the following are some of the most classic ones. The 1964 photograph of a daily newspaper preparing metal hieroglyphic blocks for printing is mesmerizingly detailed. Just imagining such a daunting task makes people appreciate modern technology.
Footage captured by Kiyoshi Sakamoto shows two Japanese people listening to a broadcast from Osaka Chuo Broadcasting Station. Although the exact time when the photo was taken is unknown, it is believed to be in the late 1920s or early 1930s.
Additionally, Pual Nicklen's photo of surfers warming up before a competition on O'ahu Island in Hawaii is a fascinating reminder of the importance of Hawaii's native culture and history.
