I have been interested in photography for many years, my footprints are everywhere, the shutter is pressed countless times, and the images are captured quite a lot, but the lens is always inseparable from all kinds of people.
I feel lucky that I can meet so many people. In the vast sea of people, I can pay attention to them, feel different environments, listen to different stories, and absorb fleeting fragments of life. It can be said that they are destined to each other and have extraordinary significance.
In my eyes, so many people have different ages, different identities, different skin colors, and different regions, but everyone has emotions and six desires, all of which taste sweet, sour, bitter and spicy, all have joys and sorrows, no distinction between noble and humbleness, and are equal citizens of the earth.
When my camera is facing so many people, I will not take photos at will, but choose to choose. The content of the photos is not all the books I have read, the roads I have walked, and the things I have done, but they all attract my eyes, touch my heart, and generate ideas. They are the products of my aesthetics, cognition, perception and expression.
I don’t know what the fate of so many people who retain negatives and hard drives are, and what the current situation is. I hope everyone can have a safe life. Whenever I turn on the computer to meet them, or a familiar figure flashes in my mind, I think we have met in a common time and space, which brings up many unforgettable memories. Although I don’t know most people and the other party may not have seen the relevant photos, I have regarded everyone as new and old friends around me.
