"I think many people's obsession with youth is related to the lack of responsibility when they are young. As we grow older, we lose a lot of freedom.
Through his lens, it is a crazy move of young people in life, and he shoots desire into a sad story.

Chad Moore was born in 1987 and grew up in Tampa, Florida. was raised primarily by his mom, who always surrounded him with various forms of creative expression. "She was gifted in painting," Moore recalls, "she always supported my creative efforts, even if they didn't look very good on paper. ”

When people talk about adult , they usually refer to a short stage of life: a series of attitudes and experiences may vary from person to person, from time to time, slightly different from big cities to remote towns , but in the end they all follow the same narrative.

©Chad Moore
However, simplifying it to just a moment reduces its emotions, concepts and symbolism. After all, isn’t adulthood a continuous process? An emotion mythized can last from the length of in the school year to a lifetime?

©Chad Moore’s visual ode to the youth of New York
Most of his teenage years he rode a BMX bike through the streets, and he always brings a disposable camera to record travel to all these new places.

©Chad Moore
This allows him to “shoot and travel – That's the beginning of my obsession with photography, "High school gave him the opportunity to further realize this passion, take photography classes and experiment in the darkroom. Over the next few years, Chad managed to save the money needed to buy the first Nikon camera and a one-way ticket to New York. In his early years, he thought his art had allowed him to find his place in the world.

"I'm a little clumsy kid, so photography gave me a new way to connect with my surroundings,"
" Normally, I would keep shooting, but I couldn't be with people for too long, so I had to think about the new direction I wanted to take," he said. "Let's say that, the crisis at that moment gave me a lot of impetus."
I do my best to explore and celebrate another way of life some people might think and create a visual conversation around that.

Chad Moore's photos have a vibrant, spontaneous and fast capture of life quality. Most of the subject matter includes young people and the so-called youth culture, and many of them are very sexy. Now the people who are filming are part of the same genre of sports—music, art and skateboarding. This is another way of life, at least in the United States, you are encouraged to follow. I also think it has something to do with me starting to make photos. So my interest has been staying in photographing young people.
I think I never really thought or thought about what type of my photos would be classified, but I think it was fine art and portrait.

This is a photo of my friend Tilda's eyes. She is one of my best friends and one of my favorite people to take photos. It was shot at a dirty dive bar called Johnson in the Lower East Side of New York, where we sometimes hang out when our friends work. The interior of the bar is really old, run down. Tilda was waiting for the bathroom, and a trace of light came from a broken bathroom door. It hit her in the eye perfectly and I think I might have only exposed it once. I kind of forgot about it and thought it might be too dark. The actual result was a good surprise.

Chad's climax of artistic and emotional reflection leads to a rediscovery of nature—in his recent work, "I began to think about what humans might represent without a human subject."

" So I focused on the night sky.I think this approach works because I found the same energy as the portrait in it. I love New York, and it has been the center of my universe for a long time, and there are a lot of young people doing great things here now, but I definitely don't have to take pictures here.

I really like going to Europe and then back to New York, almost like a vacation. I think you have to make yourself miss it a little. My lifestyle changed just because I started learning what it takes to my job and what it is unnecessary.

Chad Moore will browse different websites related to photography online and discover great photographers who appreciate it. I will also go to the library or bookstore to see books about photographers.
The most exciting thing for me is shooting someone.
As I get older, I'm understanding where this control starts and ends. I think it's also about figuring out what's next and how it goes.

©Chad Moore
I have been portraying things other than characters, but my interest has always been portrait painting. I like this connection. But I began to get tired of waiting for this energy to appear. I think of something that is not human around us, but can still have that energy.

people are so charming to me.
I feel like when you take his or her pictures, you can really see him in depth. For my generation, it's a bit like what I said before; it's interesting to think about people 20 or even 10 years later, and to see what New York, Paris, or anywhere I take these photos.

©Chad Moore
My work always has the same elements, but as I continue to make pictures, I understand more and more what I want from the image and how I want it to affect the audience.

©Chad Moore
Recently I have been taking some "stage" photos, not posing, but just putting the subject in a situation and watching their reactions.

A kind of sincerity and fragility are shown in the photography theme, without being pretentious or artificial

His image captures young people with scorching warm colors, just like maybe only young people. They are photos, you imagine subjects looking back at them years later, loving their lively laughter, their moody gaze, their naked bodies and souls.

The way of adding lips to kiss is also beautiful, sensual and eye-catching. I just took a few photos. I really liked it because this kiss was really overwhelming.

"Anything inside me is anything inside you" Although people will think that the photos on the wall will attract deeper gaze, no matter what method Moore allows us to experience the moment in front of us

A moderate amount of intimacy, and each picture has something deliberately tells us "There are other things happening here in the future, something you want to see but can never see.

Moore's work attracted us, but his mastery of presenting a sense of mystery, those imaginations of what might be, is what keeps us looking for.

©Chad Moore's work was published in American magazines such as Vogue, Interviews and V. His fashion photography captures the same luminous qualities as the subject, occasionally with a literal or just emotional sense of distance.
