For many photography enthusiasts, blurred photos are a very headache. Especially some photos are not enlarged, but they are not able to see them directly. They are reluctant to delete and keep them, but it is useless...

It is not uncommon for cameras to take blurred photos. Not only newbies, but experienced veterans will also experience this situation. However, blurred photos can be basically avoided.

Here we will organize some reasons for the blurry photography. You can check it out to avoid this situation in the future:
1. The shutter speed is not enough
Professional photography modes of cameras and mobile phones have the term "safe shutter". " safe shutter ", simply put, to ensure the stable shutter speed of taking a photo.

Generally speaking, the value of the "safety shutter" is the reciprocal of the current lens focal length multiplied by the camera's focal length conversion coefficient. If you use a 70mm lens and the camera's focal length conversion coefficient is 1.5, then the "safety shutter" is 1/70s·1.5= 1/105s. Using the shutter speed of 1/125s can ensure the stable and clear photos. You can query the specific focal length conversion coefficient according to the camera model.

2. Shaking
Slight hand shaking can cause blurred photos. Of course, if your shutter speed is fast enough, your body shaking is not harmful, but not all scenes support sufficient shutter speed, then at this time, we'd better use a tripod or try to hold the camera as much as possible, find a support point to stabilize the body to minimize shaking.

3. External factors
External factors will also change the environment around the camera to cause unstability of the camera, which will lead to blurred photos. For example, the tripod is not adjusted to stabilize, ground vibration, wind blowing and other factors. In addition to finding a good position based on the composition and shooting content, we cannot ignore these problems.

4. Inadequate exposure
Inadequate exposure effect on the photo is different from the blur caused by physical vibration. Inadequate exposure will generally make the photo look black and gray, that is, it looks dirty, similar to a blurred effect.

And if we greatly increase the sensitivity in order to pursue exposure, there will be a lot of noise in the photo, which will also make the photo blurry. When shooting, we should flexibly adjust according to the light conditions, and use flash, tripod and other auxiliary equipment if necessary.

5. The lens is not clean
This is also a common problem, especially in rainy, snowy and foggy days, the lens is easily stained with water vapor or fogging, which will affect the shooting effect. It is recommended that you develop the good habit of covering the lens cover in time. You can carry the mirror paper with you when you go out to shoot.

6. The inside of the camera or lens is not clean
This is a very troublesome thing, because the inside of the camera is full of precision devices, and it is really difficult for non-professionals to deal with. Generally, the more common situation is that there is fog and water droplets inside the camera or lens. If this happens, it is best to find a professional to deal with it as soon as possible.

It is also good to maintain the camera normally, especially in winter, large indoor and outdoor temperature differences can easily cause mist to occur inside the camera. Before going out, you can put a sealed bag on the camera and open the bag when the camera returns to room temperature.
7. Focus
If you haven't encountered any of the situations mentioned above, it is probably a focus problem. Everyone knows the simple focus principle. We talk about two small problems that are easy to ignore: many people are used to press the shutter halfway and then perform secondary composition in the viewfinder, or zoom in when using to manually focus but no longer adjust the focus ring. These will cause inaccurate focus and make the subject in the picture not clear enough.

In response to the above problems, we recommend that you consider whether the depth of field is enough before shooting. When focusing, if the time allows the zoom function to be used to see if the focus is accurate, you can also change the appropriate focus mode according to your own preferences. Finally, after taking the photo, you can also check whether you are satisfied to decide whether you need to take a reshoot.

That’s all for today’s content ~
