When I turned around, the familiar Jiaonan , which was once familiar, became dazzling.
Jiaonan, now called Qingdao West Coast New District. Tunnels, subways, highways, cross-sea bridges, , landmark buildings, beer cities, exhibition centers, ...
All kinds of symbols that calibrate modern life appear in front of you almost at the same time, making people dazzling and confused in joy, and then they create a sense of freedom: my hometown has really changed.

Photography is life, and life is meeting. Photography has allowed me to meet the changes of the beautiful city of Qingdao , the vitality and direction of urban life in the transformation, and the interesting humanities and interesting stories of all walks of life in time, like customs and paintings. Whenever I sort out these photos, it seems like I am traveling through the years, meeting and talking with time, which makes me unable to help but sigh at the past and sincerely praise the present!
Retracing the old times is a very enjoyable process. The images that record the pace of the times are actually a true portrayal of my imprints in life. After 40 years of precipitation, these old photos of me have a cultural texture and a depth of field. They are rooted in every inch of land in the old Jiaonan urban and rural areas, presenting the survival and living conditions of the villages, farmers and small towns that are walking deep into their memory. They are indeed a microcosm of Chinese society at that time.

Susan Sontag once said, "The greatest achievement of photography is to make us feel that we can bring the whole world into our minds." As a flawed art, these photography works must have many unsatisfactory and imperfections, but this is what I dream of, even if it is the beauty of flaws. Photography is inseparable from the times. As a photographer with 40 years of professional experience, I am grateful for this era of great change, which allows me to witness and record every detail of my hometown.
Occasionally look back and finds that all the beauty in life is waiting for us, just like back then.
In the long river of memory, although my hometown has gradually drifted away, the river of life is still flowing, still nourishing the land of my hometown, nourishing the endless residents, and always warming the wanderers who once lived here. In the long river of life, with the loss of time, although memories have grown old, homesickness will never fade.
Nostalgia is a scene, an old house, and a small road. These inconspicuous things inadvertently trigger people's familiar memories, making a feeling and a deep memory of lingering homesickness.
