On the afternoon of July 3, the award ceremony of the "Beautiful Nanjing - Nanjing in the Decade" Photography Competition for Foreign Friends in Ning sponsored by the Nanjing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Xuanwu District People's Government was held in D9 Block. This photography competition aims to see the development and changes of Nanjing in the past ten years through the eyes of foreigners in Nanjing. Since the competition was launched in March, it has attracted enthusiastic participation from foreigners from more than 30 countries, and a total of nearly 200 entries have been collected. . In the public voting session, the total number of votes exceeded 557,000, and the number of online visits was nearly 190,000. In the end, 20 outstanding works stood out and won awards. The award-winning photography works cover Nanjing’s natural scenery, humanities, history and social livelihood, and vividly depict the vigorous development of Nanjing’s various undertakings.
"Nanjing is a modern city, but it is rich in historical charm. There have been great changes in the past ten years, but what remains unchanged is the enthusiasm and tolerance of the Nanjing people." First prize winner, Principal of Nanjing British School Matthew· Shepard has lived in Nanjing for 15 years. He said that Nanjing's development has always been people-oriented.
