Some days ago, something that made me feel the meaning of mutual help between people once again. We may not directly gain anything because of helping others, and even lose some free time because of it, but in fact, sometimes, helping others is helping ourselves.

That day, after we got off the morning shift, we returned to the dormitory to rest as usual. Not long after we entered the house, the aunt who was cooking in the cafeteria hurriedly found us. It turned out that there was something wrong with the natural gas in the cafeteria, which caused the fire to be very small. It was time to start dinner. The aunt could not cook normally and was extremely anxious. After hearing this, we immediately went to the cafeteria to help.

We first lifted the pot and checked the reason for the decrease in firepower. We checked the output pipeline and valve of the natural gas and found a bent pipeline. I guess this is the reason for the small gas output. After adjusting and opening the valve at the bottom of the pot, the fire on the stove finally grew bigger again. The canteen aunt's anxious mood finally calmed down, and her frown brows gradually relaxed. Next we filled the pot and the canteen aunt immediately started stir-frying locally. After a while, the steaming and fragrant meal was served. When we saw the time, it was exactly the same as usual meals. Even if something happened, it did not affect everyone's normal dining. When we saw the canteen aunt wipe the sweat on her forehead with relief, and gave us a thumbs up, we also smiled on our faces.

At work, we are rigorous and serious highway toll personnel, and in life, we are all a group of helpful young people. A dinner that was not late made me feel not only the care and responsibility of the canteen aunt, but also the comfort and satisfaction of each of us working together to help others solve problems. When the problem is solved smoothly, we ourselves will also feel the meaning and value of helping others.

Today's society needs to form a social atmosphere of mutual help. Because helping others is helping ourselves. It is precisely because we helped the canteen aunts that even if there is an accident, we can still have delicious meals at our usual meals.
