状语的用途是什么？

英语的状语可以修饰各种词语，也可以修饰一个句子。本部分容易理解，例句较少。

（1）修饰谓语动词

She dances well. 她跳舞很好。

（2）修饰形容词和形容词短语

How wonderful the film is! 电影太好了！

（3）修饰副词和副词短语

I know him fairly well. 我相当了解他。

（4）修饰数词

He is more than 50 years old. 他50多岁了。

（5）修饰介词短语

You have come just in time. 你来得正好。

（6）修饰不定式和不定式短语

I told him to write more often. 我告诉他要多写信。

（7）修饰现在分词短语

I saw him swimming in the pool. 我看见他在游泳池里游泳。

（8）修饰过去分词短语

She rushed in, her eyes filled with tears. 他跑了进去，眼里含着泪水。

（9）少量的强调副词和程度副词修饰名词或代词

Only John was found. 只有约翰被找到了。

（10）修饰句子

Certainly I will come tomorrow. 明天我当然要来。
