According to telecompaper on October 26, Paris La Défense chose Cellnex France as a partner and will conduct 5G millimeter wave (26Ghz) tests in the iconic commercial area.

This project has two goals: first, to test the feasibility of a neutral host model of shared antennas and infrastructure; second, to test a new project of ultra-high speed 26GHz 5G (the so-called "mm" band) deployed in the LaDéfense area, inviting mobile network operators (MNO) and digital ecosystem companies to join Cellnex and its partners.

As an independent supplier of neutral telecom infrastructure, Cellnex sees the 5G trial of La Défense in Paris as an opportunity to participate in unique development projects, once again demonstrating its expertise and industrial deployment capabilities as a neutral infrastructure operator in dense environments.
